Our Concept ...Sometimes it's hard to find people that are willing to help others simply for the sake of, well, helping others. It often seems the norm for people to think "What's in it for me?" before lending a hand to another. The "It's all about me!" attitude has steadily grown in our society, and it truly can be discouraging. We understand that the internet can make or break a business, and having a good website can do wonders for any business. But when you try to jump into the world of web development for the first time, you soon find out that it isn't as easy as you may have thought. Like anything else, there is so much more to it than you could have imagined. It's easy to soon feel overwhelmed by it all, and you're still wondering why your website doesn't have the money rolling in. Our goal is to have an open, free community made up of designers, developers, website owners, people new to web building, and anyone else that would like to be involved in helping others. Some of our members may be business owners, and some may be starting a business; some may have years of design experience with their own development businesses, while others are starting their first site. Quite simply, we provide the place for all of these people to come together, work together, and succeed together. And our site is free, avoiding the "What's in it for me" attitude. Maybe more than that, though, is the idea that we provide the environment for people to, quite simply, help each other, for no other reason than they want to. Obviously, some members may find new business contacts here, but the underlying idea is that many people simply want to help others, and maybe that concept will lead us all to have the same outlook in other areas of our lives. We hope so, anyway :) What we do ...Site-Critique.com is a free, easy to use and easy to contribute to community site related to website critiques, tools and related articles. We do not represent any single company or service provider, however some of our members are business owners that people needing assistance may well be interested in working with. Our forums allow members to create posts requesting website critiques and reviews. All other members of our community are able to then review your post and website, and offer their advice on how you can make it better as far as design, SEO, coding, marketing and many other areas. In our articles area, our group of authors contribute information on many areas of creating, maintaining and promoting websites. These authors know their way around websites and their related areas, and have the experience and knowledge to create content that all webmasters can use. Website tools are handy when you need technical information about your site. These easy to use tools help you find domain names, find your sites code to content ratio, show you what a search engine spider sees, and much more. In short, we are a free, interactive community of people that volunteer time, questions, creativity and content to make your website, and the internet, a better place. Anyone, whether they have questions about their websites or feel they can contribute to help others, are welcome to join. What we offer ...By becoming a member, our site offers the following:
