Report this post I like the overall layout when first seeing it. It has good color contrast with a white background, doesn't feel overly cluttered, and feels balanced. I was actually surprised this was Wordpress, as it totally breaks away from the feel that it usually has. You get your message across quickly, which is essential. In other words, I get it right away as a new viewer. You also break down your specific areas very well, so that the areas you work in are not bundled and confusing. In your title tag I would suggest adding "UK" for more narrowed search results. I may have missed it, but if you could provide a comparison type of chart that shows how you have saved clients money, it would be a nice sales touch. All in all I think it's pretty well done. |

Report this post Thanks a lot for the feedback - it really is greatly appreciated. I am especially glad that you say it doesn't feel like wordpress, because I love wordpress but had to spend a lot of time getting the site to look the way I wanted. I have added in 2 instances of UK to the title tag - hopefully with will help my seo efforts :) I like the idea for a comparison chart. We are still getting our new service package off the ground and also trying to get our clients to give us some referrals to put up there - but this is definitely a great idea. Something which showed a company's costs before and after for their electricity, gas, meter installations etc and how much we saved them would really get the message across. Oh, just to let you know that when I log in to your site I just get a blank page, then I have to click back and I am logged in! Using Google Chrome, just thought you'd like to know :) Great site by the way. And don't forget to send any UK businesses to http://utilitiessavings.co.uk to get their electricity and gas sorted! Regards, Drew |

Report this post Thanks for the feedback on blank pages, I seldom use Chrome but see no issues like this with Firefox. I'll do some checking. |
