Site Name: Monstaliner DIY Truck Bed Liner |
Posted by MAGNETMAN |
This site was created to sell 1 product only. Monstaliner is a do it yourself truck bed liner for pickup truck owners not wanting to spend large sums of cash to have a professionally sprayed liner installed in their trucks. This is a large market with many players and choices. Our product is of the highest quality available. Site has been live for 3 weeks. We are paying for banner advertising on 5 popular forum sites involving truck and jeep enthusiasts. Traffic is approx 60 to 90 visit daily with 90% unique/10% returns. Have closed 2 sales online in 2 weeks, 2 sales by phone. I've spent too much time on the site myself designing and tweaking. Looking for any opinions good or bad. Anything I'm missing or have not included. Thanks for any help, criticisms or other ER PS: I do need to include a "Tell a Friend" or Email this Page feature. Looking for suggested script to do this. Pages are all HTML created in frontpage. Site is hosted on GoDaddy. |

Report this post As far as SEO, you need to create unique page title and meta description for each page. These should reflect the topic and content of the page, and be short and descriptive. You should also implement "alt" tags into your image tags, using keywords. Lso, implementing h1/h2 tags would be beneficial for page headings instead of using standard font styles. Your content seems to be well written, with no typos or errors that I spotted. remember that it should always be informative and tell your visitor how your product is helpful to them. I didn't see any obvious technical problems, and the menu makes it easy to find what I need. Aesthetically, I would refrain from using too many font sizes/styles/colors, and instead keep things more consistent. This would promote a more professional look and perhaps promote more trust. As far as sales, remember that a 2% conversion rate is about average, so you may want to do some math to see how you compare to that number. Using something like Google Analytics may help you see where you are losing potential sales. If you could show a chart of how your product compares price-wise with other products, and there is a big enough difference, that may capture the interest of your visitors fairly quickly. In other words, comparison shop for them and show them how to save money; savings in this economy is a huge factor for sales, so make it a selling point. |
